My story

I am a curious listener and therapeutic connector. I have experience working with relationship problems, self-esteem issues, trauma and sexuality. My purpose as a therapist is to help you establish a reconnection to your authentic selves by creating meaning out of stuckness.

I believe when your body is ready to let go, a space is opened for you to explore that new found sense of meaning/growth. In my approach, I seek to deepen the lost sense of connection through empowerment, courage, and vulnerability.

I believe you deserve to live a life with purpose, feeling like you matter and to embrace the central reconnection to your inner Self. Learning, experiencing, and witnessing transformations with my clients are invaluable moments.

With everything that I learned, I carry the wisdom and offer my gratitude to my past, and I hope to hold space for you with what I have learned and guide your healing journey.

Way before being a sex therapist I was landscaping for about 14 years. I learned my skills from my mom and parents eventually starting a business in Montreal- Snap Dragon Gardening- to pay for my tuition at Concordia University.

While I love landscaping I knew I wanted to be a sex therapist because of my comfort with sex positivity. My interest through my undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies of sexuality expanded my idea of what sexuality was.

I fell in love with learning and seeing the importance of sex in our lives. I also saw the shame it has brought for so many people and not enough acknowledgment about the liberation of it! I believe everyone deserves to experience love making and to have a satisfying sex life and by this is has become by purpose as a sex therapist to help my clients attain this.

I landscaped throughout my masters degree in, always having my fingers in dirt and my nose in a book. Fast forward to today, I have the best job listening to people’s stories and helping them embrace their sexuality.

My second interest in life is the natural world. My interest in plant medicines, gardening, and love for plants are inspired by my parents who said Go play outside, which inevitably meant playing with plants and coming home muddy hands. In retrospect, I still come home with dirt in my fingers and a gift from the garden.

My husband and I are avid trail runners and yes, we do wear shorts in the snow! If I am not in the office or garden, you can find us running the trails of the North Shore. Next year I hope to run my second ultra marathon with him and our friends.

“Savannah is an amazing therapist who meets her clients where they are and helps explore what they are working on with a modality that works best for them.

When Savannah and I started working together, we utilized art and narrative therapy which helped me become more in tune with my inner teen and inner child as I had a lot of trauma during these pivotal times in my life.

f it wasn’t for Savannah’s gentle approach through art and narrative therapy, I would not have been able to attain the skill set and mindset I have now for my healing journey.” - S
