Enhancing your intimate world with sex therapy

Sex therapy addresses specific sexual concerns, such as low sexual desire, gender identity, pain during sex, sexual trauma, sexual dysfunctions, religious and cultural sexual trauma, pornography addiction, and performance concerns. In session we explore personal, physical, and historical factors that may contribute to your sexual concerns wherein I offer various exercises and interventions to alleviate the presenting issues.

In some cases, sexual desire discrepancies are a result of low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, post SSRI/SNRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD) and various medical diagnoses that are out of the sex therapists control. This should be consulted by a specialist medical doctor to rule out or in any contributing factors.

Specifically, my approach to sex therapy is about creating a deeper intimate relationship with your sexual and passionate self. Being disconnected from ourselves with high stress can affect our intimate lives and make you feel self-conscious, or that “there is something wrong with me.” More often than not, I will offer you some fun homework to explore with your partner(s) or solo to create a deep sense of knowing.
